Just a note to let you know that I ordered some cornmeal from the Old Mill of Guilford [North Carolina] and made spoon bread with your recipe [from p. 23 of Cooking in Young America]. It was delicious! As good or better than the spoon bread I remember with such affection from my days at Chatham Hall in the forties.
